The front airbag is designed to protect an adult and deploys at speeds up to 300 km/h; the same impact force can crush the seat and seriously injure the pet. Therefore, the airbag must be turned off or set to “child/pet” mode before the dog travels in the front seat. Always check the car manufacturer’s instructions.
