Can the seat be installed in the front seat, and why must the airbag be turned off?

The back seat is always the primary place, but if your car has ISOFIX anchors in the front seat, the seat can also be attached there. The front airbag is designed to protect an adult and deploys at speeds up to 300 km/h; the same impact force can crush the seat and seriously injure the pet.
