Trogolo's dog bowl is made of weather-resistant concrete designed for outdoor use.

Concrete is a natural material. The small air pockets, visible layers and color variations in the surface structure are due to the material and the production process. Concrete lovers appreciate the unique features of their individual bowl. Concrete patinas over time. Surfaces may become stained and edges may show wear - this is part of the natural charm of each product.

The Trogolo water trough meets the hygiene requirements for cement materials used in drinking water containers, so it is safe and suitable for this purpose (German Institute of Environmental Hygiene and Environmental Medicine).

Each bowl is sealed with a special coating (food grade according to LGA) that prevents the penetration of water, oil and grease that could cause stains. In this way, possible impurities remain on the surface, where they can be easily wiped off. For coarse dirt, we recommend using a neutral cleaner that does not contain acids (no citrus cleaners).

Do not leave water standing in the bowl for too long, as algae can form. The trough can be emptied easily by tipping it on its side. You can clean and fill the trough easily with a garden hose or watering can.

The trogolo is not frost-resistant and must be kept inside in winter. Frost damage cannot be avoided if it is kept outside.
