Does my dog still need harnesses in the seat?

Yes. The two included attachment straps of different lengths snap onto your dog’s own strong safety harness. This keeps the dog in the correct position even if braking is sudden.

Can the seat be installed in the front seat, and why must the airbag be turned off?

The back seat is always the primary place, but if your car has ISOFIX anchors in the front seat, the seat can also be attached there. The front airbag is designed to protect an adult and deploys at speeds up to 300 km/h; the same impact force can crush the seat and seriously injure the pet. Therefore, the airbag must be turned off or set to “child/pet” mode before the dog travels in the front seat. Always check the car manufacturer’s instructions.

How does the ventilated canopy protect the dog from the sun without heating the interior?

The soft Tailor Tech™ memory foam supports the puppy’s developing joints, and the high sides prevent falls. Choose a size that fits the puppy’s current measurements and allow moderate growth room – the dog should sit firmly, not slosh around.
