How do I know the right size for my dog or cat?

Small (S) 56 × 50 × 18 cm usually fits dogs weighing 5–9 kg, such as toy poodles, Tibetan terriers, or long-backed dachshunds, and it is also a spacious bed for ragdoll and cornish rex cats.

Medium (M) 75 × 60 × 20 cm accommodates dogs weighing 10–20 kg, for example Welsh Corgi Cardigans, cocker spaniels, or female Spanish water dogs.

Large (L) 90 × 78 × 22 cm provides stretching room for friends weighing 25–35 kg, such as smooth-coated retrievers, German pointers, or salukis. However, measure your own pet lying down – length plus a few centimeters is a good rule of thumb – and ask us if you are between two sizes.

What does the corduroy feel like under the paws and fur?

Soft, short-pile velvet feels like the upholstery of a favorite armchair: luxurious against the skin, but the dense nap does not catch hair or mat even soft fur. It also tolerates dogs jumping on and off better than ordinary cotton.

Does recycled foam filling provide joint support?

Yes. The flexible yet resilient foam molds under the hip of a side-sleeping whippet and returns to its height in the morning. You can fluff the filling by hand if you want a lower mattress for a growing puppy or a plusher base for a senior.

How often should the cover be washed – and is it machine washable?

Remove the zippered cover and wash it in the machine at 30 °C on a delicate cycle whenever the retriever’s muddy tracks start to show (for many, 1–2 months is enough). Avoid tumble drying and let the fabric dry in a well-ventilated place for a couple of days to keep the colors bright.

Is the bed spacious enough for a broad-hipped labrador or a long bengal cat?

Yes – in size L the side walls flex lightly, so a 35 kg labrador can roll onto its back and stretch its toes over the edge, and a 60 cm long bengal can stretch cat-like without its head falling off the mattress.

Can a cat and dog share a Snozy?
