In the dog basket designed by Shigeo Mashiro, the flowing, soft shape and sturdy materials are emphasized. The result is a curved frame with an asymmetrically placed recess that serves as an entrance and a comfortable resting place for the head and paws.

The Mio dog basket stands out with its sturdy material. Thanks to the light-resistant and weather-resistant rope weave, it can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Mio is also lightweight. Thanks to the aluminum frame, you can move the Mio dog basket from the outdoor terrace to the indoor living area in an instant.

A durable and water-repellent mattress ensures pleasant moments of rest. The removable, washable cover is also available separately.

Care Instructions

Frame: Wipe with a damp cloth if necessary. The polypropylene rope net can be washed off with water.

Mattress: The mattress can be machine washed at 40°C. Avoid bleach and aggressive detergents. After washing, leave the mattress to air dry on a rack; do not put it in the dryer.

Cover: The cover is machine washable at a maximum of 40 °C (gentle wash). After washing, let the cover air dry on a rack - do not put it in the dryer. 

The water-repellent and light-resistant fabric is easy to maintain and durable, so you can remove stains, dirt, and dust with a cloth or an upholstery brush on a vacuum cleaner. Remove stains immediately before they penetrate deeper into the fabric.

To ensure long-lasting durability, we recommend that the cushion and frame are not left outside in the rain and moisture, but rather stored in protected and dry areas.
